how do I keep an animated blinkie ANIMATED once it is on my blog sidebar?

I have tried to post a .gif file as a blinkie on my blog. Some times it actually stays animated and other times, it freezes in one of the frames of the animation and never of course the right one! LOL... When I put it on the blog, I always use the same method and the files are always in motion till I save it to the sidebar and all of a sudden it isn't moving any more.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

Any help would be appreciated. I really really want to be able to post a proper list of FAN OF links/blinkies for all those that I really do want to support.

Hi Rhonda,

I looked at your blog and didn't see a problem with the blinkies( but then some aren't animated but I don't know if that is on purpose or not)....but your header is in 3 different colors and non of your previews are showing....


Let me know which blinkies are not animated that should be and I'll have a look...you can pm me if you'd like.
